Welcome to our Sherwood home! Since 1999, we've been a trusted part of the Sherwood community, providing a warm, nurturing environment where children can truly flourish. We specialize in care for children ages 6 weeks through 6 years old, offering safe, engaging spaces designed to support every developmental milestone. Whether your child is beginning their journey in our infant classroom or preparing for kindergarten, our experienced team is here to support their growth with care, compassion, and expertise.
At La Petite Academy, we are dedicated to creating a welcoming environment where children feel supported, encouraged, and inspired to learn every day. Our programs are thoughtfully designed to promote early learning, social development, and school readiness through age-appropriate curriculum and engaging classroom experiences.

As the Assistant Director, I bring more than 15 years of experience in early childhood education. Having worked with children of all ages, I have developed a strong understanding of the many developmental milestones children reach throughout their early years. I am passionate about mentoring teachers and fostering a collaborative environment that supports educational excellence. My goal is to build strong partnerships with families while providing a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment.
