Welcome to La Petite Academy, an educational daycare in Olive Branch, MS! My name is DaShanetha and I am the academy director. I have over 10 years of experience working with children ages six weeks to 12 years of age. I majored in early childhood education and I have my associate's degree in science. I am currently working towards obtaining my bachelor's degree in professional studies with a concentration on leadership.

I have been in the early child care field for 19+ years. As the assistant director, I work closely with the teachers in the classroom, working on a curriculum that educates with STEM approach. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math are part of everything we do in the classroom. Being able to challenge the young minds daily with the curriculum is such a joy. I love it here at La Petite Academy, Olive Branch, and look forward to building the young minds we see daily.

I really enjoy working with children. My history with child care is 17 years. I have been at La Petite Academy for 13 of those years, where I have dedicated my life to serving the families in my care. I love spending time with the children watching them grow.
