Welcome to La Petite Academy in Bradenton, FL! Our school offers a learning environment where children build curiosity, confidence, and problem-solving skills through hands-on exploration and engaging classroom experiences.
We provide programs for children six weeks through 12 years of age, supporting each stage of development from infancy through school age. Our teachers are First Aid and CPR certified and hold credentials such as a CDA, FCCPC, bachelor's degrees in early childhood education, or have completed the 45-hour DCF introductory training. La Petite Academy also supports ongoing professional growth, giving educators opportunities to continue their education and achieve Master Teacher status.
We're proud to be a NECPA-accredited preschool, which means we exceed state childcare standards and maintain a strong commitment to quality, safety, and excellence. We closely follow recommendations from state and local authorities to provide a clean, secure, and healthy learning environment for every child.

I have worked in the early childhood education field for over 25 years and come from a long line of educators, which inspired my lifelong passion for teaching and supporting young learners. I moved from Colorado to Florida in 2024 to enjoy the beautiful beaches and warmer weather. I believe early childhood education builds the foundation that helps shape our future leaders, and I am dedicated to creating a positive, nurturing environment where every child can grow and succeed.
