Welcome to La Petite Academy, in Summerville SC. My name is Teresa Gresham and I am the Center Director. I have 28 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and have been a school leader the majority of those years!
Our experienced and caring staff is committed to fostering the development of each child through a variety of engaging programs. At La Petite Academy, we offer a range of programs to meet the diverse needs of our families, including infant care, preschool, and private kindergarten. Our infant care program provides a safe and stimulating space for your little ones, while our preschool program focuses on early childhood education through interactive and play-based learning. Our private kindergarten offers a comprehensive curriculum that prepares children for future academic success.
Our center is uniquely positioned with state-of-the-art facilities, a dedicated outdoor play area, and a rich cultural curriculum that sets us apart. We take pride in our low teacher-to-student ratio, which ensures personalized attention for each child.

My goal as a Director is to provide a loving, safe, and educational environment than meets the needs of our children and families. I have 28 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and a have been a school leader for most of those years. I am passionate about working with children and seeing their smiling faces each day, knowing that I am a part of that is greatest reward of all. I take pride in my role as Center Director and leading a wonderful staff.
