Welcome to La Petite Academy of Nashville, a trusted daycare and preschool in TN. Established in 1986, our school has a long history of providing quality early education and building strong relationships with local families.
Our programs include Infant, Toddler, Twos, Early Preschool, Preschool, Pre-K, and Summer Camp. Children enjoy age-appropriate, hands-on learning experiences that encourage exploration, build confidence, and support their development.
Our experienced, caring teachers are at the heart of our school. Every member of our teaching team has been with us for five years or more, bringing a combined 138 years of early childhood education experience. Teachers are certified in CPR and First Aid and trained in Tennessee Early Learning Development Standards.
We believe families are important partners in their child's education. Monthly programs and events provide opportunities for parents to get involved, connect with our school community, and share in their child's learning experience.

The entire staff are awesome. They all interact with my child even if they are not her teacher and they make us feel very welcome everyday. They even gave my child a nickname and she loves it and it fits her.
We have loved our experience at La Petite Academy! Our son skips into his day and gets so excited to see his friends and teachers. I feel confident he is learning and growing so much, which give me a lot of comfort since we have to go to work.
The staff is absolutely wonderful! They are seasoned staff members who really care for the students.

Children explore Learning Centers, participate in small- and large-group activities, and enjoy time outdoors. Meals, snacks, rest, and plenty of opportunities for choice and play are built into the day, providing a familiar routine while keeping each day engaging.
Each child has an individual portfolio that grows with them as they progress from one age group to the next, capturing their development and learning along the way. Teachers use developmental checklists, work samples, photos, and observations to understand their progress and support continued growth. Families stay connected through SproutAbout updates, family-teacher conferences, and daily conversations with their child's teachers.
Our Learn as We Grow curriculum follows six core concepts throughout the year. Children explore these same concepts from Toddlers through Pre-K, but how they experience them changes as they grow. Each program introduces developmentally appropriate activities that build in complexity, helping children deepen their understanding and build new skills as they progress from one classroom to the next.
Moving to a new classroom is an exciting milestone at La Petite Academy of Nashville. Children gradually visit their new classroom, meet their teachers, and become familiar with new routines before the transition.
